Who we are and what this covers

New Run Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this studio website. This policy explains how we handle information when you browse the website, choose optional analytics, or contact us through the form or email.

It covers newrunstudios.com and the studio’s Firebase-hosted website. It does not cover separately released games, mobile or VR applications, or third-party websites. Those services may have their own privacy notices.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you send a message, we receive your name, email address, selected inquiry topic, message, and any information you choose to include. Direct emails may also include attachments and correspondence history. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information through the contact form.

Technical and usage information

Our hosting and form providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect their services, such as IP addresses, browser information, request times, and security or abuse-related logs.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics processes information about visits and interactions, including page views, referral information, device and browser characteristics, approximate location, and browser or installation identifiers. Our configured events include game-concept selections, genre filters, contact clicks, and confirmation that a message was submitted successfully.

We do not send contact-form names, email addresses, or message text to Analytics. The page URLs we explicitly send exclude query strings and fragments. This website does not currently offer accounts, payments, a newsletter signup, or playable games.

How we use information

• Deliver the website and keep it secure and reliable.
• Respond to support, business, press, and other inquiries.
• Understand website use and improve the site when you choose analytics.
• Identify spam, abuse, and technical problems.
• Keep appropriate business records, meet legal obligations, and protect legal rights.

We do not sell personal information or use website data to serve targeted advertising. Sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Where a law requires a legal basis, we rely on consent for optional analytics; our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries, operating the website, and preventing abuse; steps you request before a potential contract where relevant; and legal obligations where applicable. You can withdraw analytics consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Cookies, analytics, and your choices

Optional Google Analytics is off until you select Allow analytics. Declining does not prevent browsing or contacting us. Use Privacy choices in the footer to change your choice at any time.

If allowed, Analytics may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_* and similar browser storage to distinguish visits. Google receives information from the browser to provide analytics. Our implementation disables Google Signals and advertising personalization.

We store your analytics choice in local browser storage for up to 180 days. This preference storage is used to remember your choice. We also honor supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals by keeping optional analytics off, including when a previous choice allowed it.

Changing your choice to decline stops future optional collection through our integration and attempts to remove known Analytics cookies for this site. It does not automatically erase information already processed by providers. You can also clear site data in your browser or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Your choices are specific to the browser and website origin where you make them.

Hosting, security, contact-message delivery, and preference storage still operate when analytics is declined. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Service providers and other disclosures

We use the following services to operate the website and respond to messages:

• Google Firebase Hosting delivers the site and processes request and security information. See Firebase’s privacy information.
• Google Analytics, through Firebase provides optional website-usage measurement. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Web3Forms processes contact submissions and forwards them to the inbox connected to our form. Its infrastructure and spam-protection providers may process submission data and related technical information. See the Web3Forms Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
• Our email provider processes and stores messages we receive and our replies.

We may also disclose information when required by law or a valid legal process, to protect people or legal rights, to professional advisers where needed, or in connection with a proposed or completed business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. We may share information at your direction.

How long information is kept

We keep correspondence for the period reasonably needed to handle your inquiry and follow-up, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal requirements. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the message and any continuing relationship. You can request deletion using the contact address below, subject to applicable exceptions.

Providers have their own retention rules. Web3Forms currently describes a maximum of three years for form submissions, unless a shorter plan period or earlier deletion applies. Firebase states that Hosting IP data is retained for a few months. Analytics user- and event-level retention follows the settings in our Google Analytics property; aggregated reports may be retained differently. Provider policies linked above give more detail.

Our saved analytics preference expires after 180 days. Declining analytics does not by itself delete previous contact messages or provider-held records.

International processing

You may visit this website from different countries. New Run Studios and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where their services operate. Web3Forms operates from India and uses infrastructure in multiple regions. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from your country.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, relevant provider data-processing terms and transfer mechanisms apply. Contact us if you need more information about transfers associated with your inquiry.

Requests and privacy rights

You can contact us to ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion. Depending on your location, the law that applies, and relevant exceptions, you may also have rights to a portable copy, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, withdrawal of consent, an authorized-agent request, or an appeal of a request decision.

Email support@newrunstudios.com with the subject “Privacy request” and enough detail to identify your request. We may need to verify your identity or your agent’s authority using proportionate information. Do not send identification documents unless we specifically request a secure and necessary verification method.

We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any relevant exceptions. We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights protected by law. Where applicable, you can raise a concern with your local data-protection authority or other competent regulator.

Children’s privacy

This studio website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required. Please do not use the contact form to send a child’s personal information.

This website policy does not replace any age-appropriate notices or parental-consent arrangements that may be needed for a future game or app.

Security and external links

The website and contact endpoint use HTTPS to protect information in transit. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. Their operators control their own information practices. Review their privacy notices before sharing information with them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, services, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and change the “Last updated” date. When required, we will provide additional notice or seek a new choice before a material change takes effect.
